Full planning permission was secured at Aysgarth School for a proposed new sports hall with associated landscaping.
This particular scheme required the Design Team to utilise both their architectural and planning experiences to ensure that the structure did not significantly impact on the nearby listed chapel.

Utilising a wealth of heritage experience, the Design Team produced a bespoke design solution that allowed Preston City Council to grant approval for the partial conversion of the Grade II listed Waterstones Building in the City Centre. Following completion of the conversion works the building will now provide 14 high quality apartments.
The conversion of Wyreside Hall into a 5 * Hotel has become one of GA Associates signature projects. The building’s listed status combined with the strict standards that a hotel of this calibre needs to achieve created an extremely complex project from both an architectural, and planning standpoint.
However, utilising experience gained on other large leisure projects, and their in-depth understanding of working within rural locations, a design concept was put forward that won the support of the local authority, and subsequently convinced the committee to vote in favour of granting Planning & Listed building consent for the project.
